What we offer

 

 

The seating capacity is 120 for the hall and about 80 for the church (a bit more if some stand up).

Venue costs are $3000 for 3 days, usually Friday/Saturday/Sunday, so you can set up on Friday and clean up on Sunday. 2 days is $2400 and 1 day is $1800. The fee covers the use of the whole facility which includes the hall with fully equipped commercial kitchen and all contents, use of the church for the ceremony, plus chairs, tables and marquee.

 

We require a bond of $800 to cover any loss or damage.

 

To lock in your booking we ask for payment of the bond of $800 and payment of the fee no later than 2 months before the event.

Cancellation more than 4 months from the event incurs $100 admin fee; cancellation less than 4 months from the event incurs loss of the $800 bond.

We have 20 plastic fold out tables which seat 6 to 8; 100 grey plastic chairs which are clean and in good order; 100 wine glasses and 100 tumbler glasses ($2ea breakage); a mixture of crockery and cutlery which are not all the same and less than 100 pieces of each.

 

Most of our wedding bookings use local party equipment hirers instead. All our equipment is listed in our inventory.

The kitchen is fully commercially equipped but caterers should bring any specialist equipment they need and we suggest they inspect the kitchen themselves before the event.

 

We have a deck off the southern side of the hall measuring 8x8 metres and the grassy area between the buildings is approximately 14x22 metres.

No vehicles of any kind are allowed on any grass areas so all equipment must be unloaded at the front of the building and trailers parked there.

As Jasper Corner is in a residential area, we ask you to be mindful of the music volume at all times, it must be lowered at 11pm and the curfew is midnight. We also ask that wedding parties respect the privacy of properties behind Jasper Corner by not entering gardens or driveways to take photographs. Federal Park is a public space just down the road and a lovely setting for photos.

If you decide to go ahead with a booking, we will send you our agreement and terms, floor plans of both buildings and inventory. We can also suggest local providers for all your needs.
