Byron Bay is serviced by two airports - Gold Coast and Ballina. Hire cars plus minibus transport is available at both. It takes approximately 40 minutes to drive to Byron Bay from the Gold Coast and 25 minutes from Ballina.

 

There is no public transport to Federal however, there are taxis available from Byron Bay which is approximately 25 minutes away. There are also car rental companies situated in Byron Bay. You can also hire buses and minibuses at Byron Bay Coaches.
